Getting Started

How does Ask a Lender work?

Ask a Lender offers various lender searches that connect borrowers with lenders. Here’s how it works:

  1. Lenders complete their profiles and enter their loan programs.
  2. Borrowers search loan programs.
  3. If a lender is a match, they appear in the borrower’s search results.
  4. Borrowers select lenders and request rate quotes.
  5. The lender then works with the borrower on the quote and — ideally — a loan.

Where do you come in? Before performing lender searches, many Ask a Lender users conduct research to help them on their journeys toward buying a house, purchasing a car or starting a business. Part of that research may include browsing professionals’ Ask a Lender profiles to find a real estate agent, insurance agent, or whoever else can provide the services they need.

Our users may also browse blog posts while researching their borrowing needs. Ask a Lender makes it easy for users who read your blog to contact you directly for more information. These kinds of connections will help you grow your business, and make people’s lives a little easier. Did we mention it’s free for you?
